Growing up an hour outside of Chicago, Barrington, Illinois to be exact, Will Doughty discovered Improvisation at age 16. One visit to the famous Second City Theatre and he was hooked. Will pursued theatre with a passion and was granted a scholarship to Illinois State University for the Performing Arts Program. Four years later, and a head full of knowledge (possibly useless), Will lived in Minneapolis, working as an actor. Yeah, really.
“I just kind of fell into it”. Having auditioned for Comedy Sportz on a whim, Will found himself up on stage working for the company in a matter of months. After a year of short-form improvisation, Will auditioned for “The Brave New Workshop”, a long-form/sketch company founded by Dudley Riggs. Two weeks after being in class he was called to perform on the main stage in a “Best of” show. From there Will performed in a run of main stage shows and corporate events.
Now in Los Angeles, Will is continuing his education and performance while studying at both iO West, and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Will also plays and teaches guitar.

Hi Will,

Just wanted to remind you I’d love to do the lottery show this month. Let me know if that works and talk soon!
